Temporal stock analysis - complete H-Logic-first case study

Documentation status: tutorial — see Maturity and evidence.

This case study demonstrates the H-Logic-first methodology on a stock-management domain with time-dependent facts, derived diagnostics and query-oriented projections.

The module manages products stored in warehouses. It records receipt, reservation, release and shipment movements. For each product and warehouse, the model reasons about physical stock, reserved stock and available stock at a specific time. Reorder policy is also time-dependent.

Build path

  1. Business specification and vocabulary
  2. Temporal entities and support relations
  3. Rules, diagnostics and propagation
  4. Query projections and indexes
  5. Validation and test plan
  6. Operationalization into declarative models
  7. Implementation checklist

The source ontology used by the guide was parser-accepted. Parser acceptance alone does not certify inference, indexing, justification or retraction behavior, so those capabilities remain explicit test obligations.
