Process-Aware AI — AI That Understands Business Dynamics

Reference: This page is a source-based technical synthesis of the LaTeX chapter cited below. For exact syntax, availability or ABI signatures, verify the versioned source, manifest and executable tests.

Scope and source boundary

Process-aware AI grounds candidate actions in declared business states, Events and Process rules before execution.

A governed agent operates on a declared conceptual model; it does not become an independent authority for business facts or effects. The source distinguishes agent sessions, conceptual context, available capabilities, proposed actions and published execution surfaces. Agent reasoning may suggest work, while the runtime and business policy decide what can be committed.

Engineering rules

  • Keep agent identity, subject, purpose and session context traceable.
  • Read conceptual state through the authorized KnowledgeQuery surface.
  • Treat model/provider output as a proposal until validation succeeds.
  • Apply the same action-level policy to human, service and agent callers.
