From Basic to Advanced Architecture

Documentation status: guide — see Maturity and evidence.

A logiCells architecture should grow by adding explicit concerns, not by bypassing the conceptual model.

Progression

  1. Concepts and identities — define stable domain concepts, roles and identifiers.
  2. Executable metadata — add actions, events, collections, rules, views and processes where they carry domain meaning.
  3. Publication — expose selected capabilities through services, UI projections, agents or messaging.
  4. Distribution — introduce remote Runtime, messaging, synchronization and multi-tenant boundaries only where required.
  5. Knowledge and reasoning — add H-Logic, transform agents, embeddings or learned ranking when the use case benefits from them.
  6. Numerical acceleration — use tensor backends and resident execution without leaking accelerator choices into the domain model.

Architecture gate

At every step ask: does this addition change business meaning, or only execution? Business meaning belongs in the model. Execution choices belong behind Runtime, binding, service and deployment boundaries.

Advanced does not mean internal

Advanced applications can use public hypergraph, tensor, service and agent capabilities without depending on private engine classes. A design that requires internal implementation names is a maintenance dependency, not an advanced public pattern.
